More Than a Photograph
Putting Confidence in the Picture -
Portraits of Promise is a community-centered portrait initiative created to celebrate children—their individuality, their confidence, and all the possibility still ahead of them.
Through partnerships with nonprofits, schools, churches, community organizations and sponsors, we create meaningful portrait experiences for children and families who might not otherwise have access to professional photography.
But the experience is about more than receiving a beautiful photograph. It's about the child standing in front of the camera. The shy smile that slowly becomes a grin. The personality that begins to emerge. The moment a child sees their finished portrait and realizes: That's me. And I look pretty amazing.
We want every child who steps in front of our camera to walk away feeling just a little taller than when they arrived. That's Portraits of Promise.
Portrait Experiences with Purpose
How It Works
Portraits of Promise are professional portrait experiences designed to help children and families feel seen, celebrated, and valued. We partner with nonprofits, schools, churches, hospitals, shelters, adoption and family-service organizations, and community sponsors to bring professional portraiture to children and families who might not otherwise have access to it.
Our community partners help us identify the families they serve. Program fees may be funded by the organization, a sponsoring business or individual, multiple sponsors working together, or a combination of support.
Community Portrait Experiences
Programs are designed around the size and needs of the community being served.
- Sponsored portrait experiences begin at $1,000 for programs serving up to 10 children or families, with larger community portrait days and specialized programs available.
- Portrait experiences typically include professional photography, image selection and retouching, and a finished digital portrait for each participating child or family. Printed portraits and other enhancements may also be incorporated depending on the program.
Custom proposals are available for hospitals, shelters, foster and adoption programs, large community events, and organizations with specialized accessibility, privacy, or scheduling needs.
