Capturing New Beginnings, One Click at a Time

When I started in the workforce, there was no social media to speak of. It was all word of mouth, flyers, or business cards pinned to the corkboard in the corner of every store. Small businesses literally fought for attention by thumb-tacking their ads on top of each other, like a scavenger hunt for potential customers. Fast forward to today, and suddenly, the world is telling you that you MUST be connected to at least two social media platforms (no pressure, right?). You MUST blog. And blog often. You MUST have a website and use keywords that make people say, “Wow, I didn’t know I needed that today, but I’m so glad I found it!” And… the list just keeps getting longer.

After decades of working for others, I find myself staring at this to-do list of “MUSTS,” trying to wrap my brain around it all. (It’s like a new parent trying to figure out how to fold a fitted sheet—confusing, overwhelming, and oddly specific.) But you know what? I’m committed to building this business my way, the way I know it can shine. And let’s be honest, learning the ropes of business marketing might be a bit tricky, but it’s NOTHING compared to figuring out how to get a baby to sleep through the night.

So, after attending online workshops, devouring resources, and diving deep into a photography niche that I absolutely love but never saw myself pursuing before, I’m ready to take on this new adventure! I’m bringing my passion for photography into a whole new world of baby giggles, tiny toes, and those first magical moments that you’ll want to cherish forever.

I may not be new to photography, but I’m certainly new to this whole “self-promotion” thing (and I’m pretty sure my friend’s dog is tired of being my only model). What I am is authentic. Just like the photos I capture. So, here’s the big question: What’s stopping you from choosing me to capture those unforgettable memories of your little one?

Let’s make magic together—after all, they grow up way too fast! (And hey, I promise I won’t make you fold a fitted sheet. I still don’t have that down to a science.)
